Causes of acne around the lips

The causes of acne around the lips are related to acne, perioral dermatitis, herpes simplex and folliculitis.
1. Acne: It is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that causes inflammatory rashes, pimples, pustules or nodules. It usually grows on the head and face area, and a few patients may also grow around the lips.
2. Perioral dermatitis: usually grows around the lips and nasolabial folds and other parts of the body, the typical symptom is the emergence of small papules, may be papules, and accompanied by itching, burning sensation and scaling.
3. Herpes simplex: If infected with the herpes simplex virus, herpes simplex may appear around the lips, often transformed into small crystal clear blisters, with a certain degree of pain.
4. Folliculitis: Because there are hair follicles around the lips, if invaded by bacteria and other germs, folliculitis may be induced, appearing as small red bumps, with tiny hairs passing through the top of the bumps and white pus spots.
Because of the many causes, it is recommended that patients need to consult a doctor in a timely manner, do a systematic examination and diagnosis, and avoid blindly using medication on their own.
