Duration of in vitro survival of hepatitis B virus

Hepatitis B virus is resistant to the outside world, tolerant to heat, low temperature, dryness, ultraviolet light, etc. It can survive for 7 days at 37°C, 6 hours at 56°C, 6 months at 30-32°C in serum, 15 years at -20°C, and can be inactivated by boiling for 10 minutes at 65°C for 10 hours or by autoclaving. Ethylene oxide, glutaraldehyde, peroxyacetic acid and iodoform, all have good inactivation effect on hepatitis B virus. Items that can be boiled in water in daily life can be inactivated by boiling for 10 minutes, and items that cannot be boiled in water can be disinfected by wiping with peroxyacetic acid or iodophor.
