Treatment of urinary incontinence

Urinary incontinence needs to have the cause identified before targeted treatment. Urinary incontinence may be due to sphincter relaxation, prostate hyperplasia, cystitis and other reasons. It is recommended that patients go to the regular hospital in time, after the cause of the disease is clear for treatment. 1. Sphincter relaxation: it is common in patients after ageing, vaginal delivery and hysterectomy. The sphincter muscle can be exercised to achieve the therapeutic effect by training such as lifting the anus and interrupting urination. 2. Prostatic hyperplasia: Frequent urination, difficulty in urination, urinary retention and other symptoms can occur, and when the prostate gland enlarges to a certain extent, it can cause patients to have urinary incontinence. In mild cases, treatment with drugs such as finasteride, dutasteride, terazosin is the main treatment; in severe cases, surgical treatment is the main treatment, which can also be combined with the above drug treatment. 3. Cystitis: Inflammation of the bladder stimulates sphincter spasm, resulting in urinary incontinence. Oxyfloxacin, ciprofloxacin and cefuroxime can be used to treat the inflammation, and phentolamine, tamsulosin and prazosin can be used to relieve the symptoms. Urinary incontinence may also be caused by other factors, requiring different treatments. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals for timely consultation and treatment, and strive for early recovery. The above medications should be used under medical supervision.
