Can stomach cancer tumors rupture?

Stomach cancer tumor will rupture. The initial cancer cells of gastric cancer are derived from the mucosal epithelial cells of the stomach. Due to its abnormal and rapid growth, it leads to the occurrence of lumps, and when the growth reaches a certain level, the tumor will rupture. Patients present with sudden onset of epigastric pain, which later turns into pain in the whole abdomen, and examination reveals pressure pain and rebound pain in the whole abdomen as well as platysmal abdomen, mostly accompanied by rupture of blood vessels, causing bleeding. If the bleeding is small, the patient may have black stool, and conservative medical treatment can stop the bleeding. If the amount of bleeding is large, the patient may vomit blood, and serious cases may cause hemorrhagic shock, and the bleeding must be stopped immediately, which can be done under gastroscopy, and if necessary, surgical treatment is needed, and blood transfusion can be given to those with severe anemia.
