Heart yang or heart yin deficiency is generally determined by symptoms, pulse and tongue. 1. Deficiency of heart yang: the main manifestations are palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), anxiety (violent heartbeat, panic and restlessness), heart and chest pain, fear of cold limbs cold (fear of cold, cold limbs), white face, face and lips purple, fatigue (lack of mental energy) shortness of breath and fatigue, self-sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, sweating aggravates a little bit of movement), pale and fat, white slippery tongue, weak pulse or pulse stops, pulse irregularities, and so on. For the treatment of heart yang insufficiency, drugs such as Baoyuan Tang are usually used. 2. Heart yin deficiency: the main manifestations are heartburn, palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), insomnia, dreaminess, hot flashes (a burst of fever), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), flushing of cheekbones (redness of cheekbones on both sides of the face), dry mouth and throat, emaciation, red tongue with little moss, and a fine pulse (the pulse is becoming narrower and finer, and the rate is accelerated), and so on. For the treatment of insufficient heart yin, medicines such as Tianwang Xinxin Dan can be used. If there is any heart discomfort, go to a regular hospital immediately.
