What is the cervical cytology TBS report

The cervical cytology TBS report is presented at the time of cancer screening of the cervix and is divided into three parts: 1) report on the presence of corresponding pathogenic infections, such as trichomonas, mycobacteria, etc.; 2) report on the presence of inflammation-related cellular changes, inflammatory changes or atrophic changes, etc.; 3) report on the presence of abnormal epithelial proliferation, such as atypical proliferation of squamous epithelial cells or glandular epithelial atypical proliferation, etc. If the first two of the above are abnormal, it is generally not a good idea to report them. If the first two abnormalities mentioned above are present, follow-up colposcopic cervical biopsy is usually not required. However, in the case of intraepithelial atypical hyperplasia, follow-up colposcopic cervical biopsy is required.
