Nail inguinitis can use antibiotics, acute nail inguinitis is mostly bacterial infection, can use penicillin; chronic nail inguinitis need to keep fingers dry, antibiotics for bacterial infection, antifungal drugs for fungal infection. 1. Acute onychomycosis Antibiotics are often needed for acute purulent inguinitis, especially when there is a suggestion of pyogenic coccobacillus infection, penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics should be preferred. In order to drain the pus, the pus-filled nail folds can be punctured with the tip of a knife, and then changed and bandaged on a daily basis. 2. Chronic onychomycosis (1) Keep dry: fingers should be kept dry to avoid irritation. When touching water, soap or other chemicals, cotton gloves should be worn first, followed by plastic or rubber gloves. You can also rinse with water and wipe dry immediately after contact. (2) Anti-infective treatment: look for the pathogenic microorganisms, and if it is a bacterial infection, choose antibiotics, such as penicillin. If it is a fungal infection, use antifungal drugs, such as ketoconazole. (3) Topical treatment: topical chloroiodo hydroxyquin can be used.
