What’s wrong with headaches when you don’t get enough rest?

A headache after a bad rest may be related to lack of oxygen in the brain, elevated blood pressure, tension headache, migraine, and so on.
1. Lack of oxygen in the brain: too short a sleep, poor quality, resulting in the brain in a fatigue state, slowing down the blood circulation, the oxygen supply becomes poor, there will be a headache performance.
2. Elevated blood pressure: poor rest will make blood vessels less elastic, and strong contraction of blood vessels will lead to high blood pressure, resulting in headaches.
3. Tension-type headache: pericranial muscle or myofascial contraction or ischemia, inflammatory mediator release and other triggers. There are also factors such as depression and anxiety. Tension-type headache is also easily induced when you don’t get a good rest.
4. Migraine: a chronic vascular neurological disease, poor sleep quality is one of the common triggers of migraine, manifested as one side or both sides of the throbbing pain.
