If the stroke hemiplegia is caused by ischemic cerebrovascular disease, patients are advised to undergo antiplatelet aggregation or anticoagulation therapy in the acute phase, together with circulation-improving drugs and oxygen radical scavenging and brain-protective therapy. After the acute phase, patients can undergo systematic rehabilitation, such as acupuncture and massage in Chinese medicine, to restore the function of the affected limb as much as possible. If the stroke is a cerebral hemorrhagic disease, patients are advised to consult neurosurgery. If the amount of bleeding is relatively small, conservative treatment with drugs for dehydration, reduction of intracranial pressure and promotion of neurological recovery is possible, and systematic rehabilitation is also possible after the acute phase. If the amount of bleeding is relatively large, surgical treatment can be performed, and postoperative patients should prevent complications, while drugs to promote neurological recovery can be used.
