What is the normal temperature of a baby’s neck?

Generally, the formal measurement of baby’s body temperature is done in three places, one is the temperature of the mouth, or the temperature of the anus, or the temperature of the armpit which is the most commonly used in clinical practice. It is not recommended to clip the thermometer under the baby’s neck for convenience. If the temperature of the armpit is measured, it should be between 36℃-37.2℃, which is the normal body temperature. The measurement must be taken over a period of 5-10min. The baby’s arm should be able to hold the mercury end of the thermometer accurately and tightly so that the measured temperature is the correct temperature.
