There are three types of test strips available on the market for detecting AIDS, namely, blood test strips, saliva test strips and urine test strips. 1. Blood test paper: four weeks and six weeks after high-risk sex, respectively, do a blood test. After washing your hands, take out the test paper and put it flat, disinfect your hands with alcohol cotton and take blood, drop it into the blood groove of the test paper, wait for 15-20 minutes to observe the result, the result within 30 minutes is valid, and the result of more than two hours has no diagnostic significance. 2. Saliva test paper: a test paper using saliva, do the test about six weeks after high-risk sex. 3. Urine test strip: A test strip that uses drops of urine in a test strip slot and is done about six weeks after high-risk sexual behavior. The latter two tests are not as accurate as blood test strips, so it is best to use blood test strips. It should be noted that the results of the test paper can not be used as a basis for diagnosis or exclusion of AIDS, so it is best to go to the hospital after high-risk behavior, under the guidance of the doctor to do the relevant tests.
