The endometrial polyp of 1.8 centimeters miraculously disappeared, possibly shedding with the uterine lining. Usually, when a polyp in the endometrium suddenly disappears, it may have fallen off with the endometrium. Smaller endometrial polyps may be shed with the lining of the uterus during menstruation and expelled from the body. So, it is possible for the endometrial polyp to miraculously disappear. Endometrial polyps are usually associated with inflammation of the lining or uncoordinated levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and the size of the endometrial polyp is affected by changes in hormone levels in the body. For smaller endometrial polyps, patients will be advised to undergo regular checkups. A smaller number of patients may have their hormones balanced and stabilized during the process, and the endometrial polyps may be discharged with the shedding of the endometrium. Patients are advised to go to the hospital for another examination to prevent misdiagnosis.
