The recovery cycle of leg ligament strain injury is different depending on the degree of injury, generally its recovery cycle is about 4~8 weeks.
1. Mild injuries: In general, patients with mild ligament injuries, after simple external fixation and braking for a period of time, most of them will be able to go down to the ground for weight bearing and activities in 4~6 weeks.
2. Serious tear: For patients with serious tear, surgical suture is needed, and after surgical suture, the general repair is about 6~8 weeks.
Leg ligament injury if involved in joint ligament injury, but also need to cooperate with the systematic rehabilitation functional exercise, if the functional exercise can not meet the standard, may also increase its rehabilitation cycle.
Patients with leg ligament injuries are recommended to have regular follow-ups for early recovery.
