Usage of vitamin B1

Vitamin B1 can be used for severe vitamin B1 deficiency and can be administered orally 3 times a day at 5-10mg each time. The general requirement of vitamin B1 for adults weighing up to 60kg is 1.5-2mg per day, and vitamin B1 deficiency can occur if the daily intake of it in meals is less than 0.25mg. In addition, vitamin B1 should not be taken with alkaline drugs and tannin-containing herbal medicines, nor with tea, coffee or fruit juice. It is recommended that vitamin B1 deficiency should be used under the guidance of a professional doctor in a regular hospital.
