Herbal remedies for hernia

Chinese herbal remedies for hernia include Warming Liver Decoction, Tiantai Wu Yao San, and Tangerine Kernel Pill.
Warming the Liver Decoction is composed of wolfberry, angelica, poria, cumin, sedum, aconite and cinnamon. It has the effects of moving qi and relieving pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi), warming the liver and kidneys.
It can be used in treating hernia pain, abdominal pain and cold pain in testicles caused by insufficiency of the liver and kidney and cold stagnation of the liver chakra. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this formula are not clear.
Tiantai Wu Yao San is composed of Muxiang, Wu Yao, Green Orange Peel, Gao Liang Jiang, Fennel Seed, Ba Dou, Neem Real. It has the efficacy of dredging the liver and moving qi, dispersing cold and relieving pain. It can treat hernia of the small intestine, pain in the lesser abdomen (abdomen) pulling the testicles and dysmenorrhea in women caused by cold condensation and stagnation of Qi.
The contraindications and adverse reactions of this formula remain unclear.
Tangerine Kernel Pill is composed of seaweed, tangerine kernel, kelp, kombu, neem, peach kernel and other traditional Chinese medicines. It has the efficacy of softening and dispersing knots (softening and dissipating hard lumps), promoting circulation of Qi and relieving pain.
It can be used in treating hernia, testicular swelling, umbilical and abdominal pain, and enlarged scrotum. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this formula are not clear.
