What is the right treatment for stroke

Stroke is the second leading cause of death in China, and we have a high incidence of stroke. Following the guidelines is the key to reducing the risk of stroke and improving the survival rate. Here are a few options for patients to understand and cooperate with their doctors. These rules are taken from documents such as the “Stroke standardization and treatment promotion program for Chinese neurologists”. 1. Patients with simple hypertension should have an ideal blood pressure of <140/90 mmHg; 2. Patients with hypertension with diabetes or nephropathy should have an ideal blood pressure of <130/80 mmHg; 3. Patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who are at high risk of stroke should be anticoagulated with warfarin; 4. Patients with diabetes should have a target glycemic control value of glycosylated hemoglobin <7%; 5. Patients at high risk should start statins as early as possible It is recommended that the target LDL should be ≤1.81 mmol/L or the range of reduction should be >50% and maintained for a long period of time, even if the LDL is already <1.81 mmol/L at the onset of the disease, the use of statins can still be beneficial. 7. The acute phase of stroke is within 2 weeks of onset, and thrombolysis with recombinant tissue-type fibrinogen activator (rt-PA) can be considered within 3 hours of onset, and blood pressure should be <180/100 mmHg for thrombolysis; 8.
