How serious is grade 4c breast cancer

Grade 4C breast cancer is a finding in imaging that indicates that a breast nodule may be breast cancer, and pathologic testing is needed to confirm the diagnosis. In clinical practice, breast cancer imaging results are categorized into grades 0-6, with grade 4 being subdivided into 4A, 4B, and 4C. The higher the grade, the higher the risk of breast cancer. However, the results of this examination cannot fully confirm the diagnosis of breast cancer, and the patient needs to undergo pathologic testing, such as puncture pathology, to confirm the diagnosis. In the early stages of breast cancer, there are no obvious symptoms. In some cases, a lump may appear in the breast and there is no obvious pain in the early stages of the disease. As the disease progresses, symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes in the armpits may appear, and some patients may also have localized skin depressions. When the disease enters the middle and late stages, local and distant metastasis will occur, threatening the patient’s life. When grade 4C breast cancer test results appear, further examination should be carried out in time, and a treatment plan should be formulated according to one’s own situation to avoid aggravation of the disease.
