The outer side of this large tendon is the Shakuzawa point. It is used in conjunction with the acupoints of Lianjiu and Lung Yu in the treatment of coughing and shortness of breath, and the acupoints of Sanliang in the treatment of acute sore throat, and the acupoints of Hetani in the treatment of spasmodic pain in elbow and arm and unfavorable elbow flexion and extension, and the acupoints of Zhanyong in the treatment of acute vomiting and diarrhea, and heatstroke.
