Women with high blood pressure need to take medication to treat it, and a low-salt diet is recommended.
Commonly used drugs for hypertension include beta-blockers (e.g. metoprolol), diuretics (e.g. hydrochlorothiazide), calcium channel blockers (e.g. nifedipine), angiotensin II receptor blockers (e.g. cloxartan), and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (e.g. Benadryl).
In terms of diet, it is important to have a low-salt diet, strictly limit the intake of salt, avoid the intake of pickled or smoked foods such as kimchi and salami, eat more vegetables, fruits, beans and other foods rich in potassium, and avoid drinking alcohol.
However, it is important to note that medication must be used under the guidance of a doctor, not self-medication.
