Multiple cysts of the cervix are relatively large, and this does not cause cervical cancer because the cyst may be a retention cyst, which is a benign lesion. Cervical cysts are usually referred to as cervical naboth cysts, which are commonly known as cervical naboth cysts. This is a retention cyst that is formed when the cervical gland ducts are narrowed or blocked, preventing the flow of fluid from the ducts. Cervical cysts can result if a woman has cervical columnar epithelial ectasia, or if she has chronic inflammation of the cervix. Cervical cancer occurs mainly due to infection with high-risk types of human papillomavirus, especially types 16 and 18. When there is cervical cancer, a lump may appear, but essentially no cervical cysts. Women with a history of sexual intercourse should go to the hospital regularly for cervical cancer screening, usually once every 2 to 3 years, so that basically early detection and early treatment of cervical cancer can be achieved.
