The normal vaginal flora is dominated by Lactobacillus, which can secrete certain substances to make the vagina acidic. Due to environmental imbalance, other microorganisms proliferate, among which anaerobic bacteria and human mycoplasma are common. Their metabolites raise the pH in the vagina, mainly showing increased vaginal discharge, grayish white, thin and uniform, low viscosity, with fishy odor, no inflammatory changes in the vaginal mucosa, positive amine odor test and clue cells. It can be caused by inattention to local hygiene, sexual hygiene, straining, childbirth, abortion, etc. Treatment is mainly with anti-anaerobic drugs metronidazole and clindamycin, both local or systemic. In daily life, pay attention to keep the vulva skin clean and dry, change underwear regularly and dry in the sun. Avoid intercourse and eat lightly during the treatment period.
