How much uric acid does not require medication

High uric acid is caused by the disorder of purine metabolism in the body to produce too much uric acid, high uric acid may occur gout, and the higher the level of uric acid, the greater the chance of gout. If there is no gout attack and the uric acid level is below 480umol/L, there is no need to treat it with medicine. If the rechecked uric acid level is higher than 480umol/L or more, treatment with uric acid-lowering drugs is needed. If the uric acid level reaches 540umol/L or more, uric acid-lowering treatment needs to be started immediately. If a high blood uric acid level is accompanied by an attack of gout, uric acid-lowering treatment is mostly needed regardless of how high the uric acid level is.
