How to treat ST-T changes

The treatment of ST-T alterations requires different treatment approaches in relation to the specific ST-T alterations, which are divided into two types of conditions: ST-segment elevation and ST-segment depression, and ST-segment elevation is common in acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and pericarditis. Acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction is a critical illness, and emergency coronary angiography and stenting is recommended if necessary. In the case of pericarditis, it is recommended to further investigate the cause of the pericarditis and treat the cause. If ST-segment depression is combined with myocardial enzymatic changes, acute non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction is considered, and in this case, if the condition is stable, coronary angiography is recommended at an early stage, and stent placement is recommended if necessary. If there is only ST-segment depression without angina symptoms, it is recommended to further evaluate the vascular condition, such as performing exercise plate test or cardiopulmonary assessment to find out whether there are angina symptoms under increased cardiac load, and if there is no angina symptom, it is recommended to improve the level II prevention of coronary heart disease.
