What does solid nodule in the liver mean

Solid intrahepatic nodules are nodular lesions in the liver that become solid, and compared to cystic nodules, solid nodules have a low fluid content and are basically tissue-containing inside the nodule.
Solid intrahepatic nodules are a relatively common type of liver lesion, which can be caused by a variety of reasons, such as inflammation, tumors and so on, and patients do not show any clinical symptoms. Compared with cystic nodules, solid nodules are basically cellular structures with low fluid content, and solid intrahepatic nodules are usually found during liver ultrasound.
Solid intrahepatic nodules may be benign, such as hepatic adenomatous nodules, or malignant, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, and it is recommended that patients undergo enhanced CT or MRI to clarify the nature of the nodules for subsequent treatment.
