Efficacy and Effects of Genistein Ophiopogon

Ginseng and maitake have the efficacy of clearing heat and cooling blood, nourishing yin and promoting the production of body fluid, and can be used to treat diseases such as dry lung and dry cough, consumptive cough with deficiency of yin, and paralysis of the throat (redness, swelling and pain in the pharynx, or dryness, with a sense of foreign body, or itchy discomfort in the pharynx and difficulty in swallowing) with sore throat, and so on.
1. Yuan Shen, also known as Xuan Shen, is the dried root of Xuan Shen, a plant of the genus Xuan Shen, family Xuan Shen, with the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, diarrhea and detoxification, and nourishing Yin.
This medicine can be used to treat warm evils entering the camp, internal trapping in the pericardium, warm poisonous spots (warm-heat toxins embedded in the lungs and stomach, and burning of the qi and blood causing spots on the limbs), heat illnesses that injure the yin, constipation due to injury of the fluids, laborious coughing of the bones, redness of the eyes and sore throat, scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of the lymph nodes in the neck), diphtheria, carbuncle, swelling, and poisonous sores, and other diseases.
2. Maitong is the dried tuberous root of Maitong, family Liliaceae, which is slightly cold in nature, sweet and slightly bitter in taste, and belongs to the lung, heart and stomach meridians, with the effect of nourishing yin and generating fluids, moistening the lungs and clearing the heart, and it can be used for the treatment of dry lung and dry cough, coughing with deficiency of yin and consumptive cough, paralysis of the throat, sore throat, thirst caused by injury of fluids, thirst, internal heat and thirst (fever accompanied by symptoms such as overeating, excessive drinking, excessive urination and so on), heartburn, insomnia and intestinal dryness, constipation and other diseases.
Taking ginseng and maitake has the effect of nourishing yin and generating fluids, clearing heat and cooling blood. It should be noted that ginseng should not be taken together with quinoa.
