How much does a lung test cost?

The cost of a lung exam is mainly related to whether it is a general physical exam or a targeted lung physical exam. A general physical exam for an adult requires about$70 for an orthopantomogram of the chest;$370 for a plain CT of the chest; about$468 for a high-resolution CT of the chest; about$1,000 for an enhanced CT of the chest; and about$1,000 for a fiberoptic bronchoscopy. For abnormal lung images, such as ground glass nodules, partially solid nodules, and solid nodules, blood sampling for tumor markers will be done for about RMB 500; PET-CT for about RMB 8,000, and chest enhancement CT and chest high-resolution CT can also be done. In combination with other biochemical examinations, such as tuberculosis screening, the T-cell test for Mycobacterium tuberculosis is about 600 RMB; the G-test for fungal infection is about 400 RMB; the sputum culture for bacteriological infection screening for pneumonia is about 200 RMB, and the percutaneous lung puncture test for abnormal masses in the lung is about 1000 RMB. Therefore, the cost of lung examination varies depending on whether it is a normal health checkup or an abnormal targeted examination.
