Causes of prerenal acute renal failure

Pre-renal acute renal failure is caused by a variety of etiological factors that cause insufficient blood perfusion to the kidneys, leading to a rapid decline in renal function, such as massive bleeding, diarrhea and other causes of loss of body fluids; as well as pericarditis, pulmonary embolism and other diseases.
1. Massive bleeding, diarrhea: due to massive loss of body fluids, causing blood volume insufficiency, leading to a functional decrease in glomerular perfusion pressure, renal ischemia appearing pre-renal acute renal failure.
2. Pericarditis, pulmonary embolism: causing a decrease in cardiac output, insufficient perfusion to the kidneys, causing acute renal injury and acute renal failure.
Initially, there is no damage to the renal parenchyma and it is a functional change. If not treated in time, the renal blood flow can be reduced progressively, developing into acute tubular necrosis and acute renal failure.
Therefore, patients diagnosed with acute renal failure should go to the hospital in time, follow the doctor’s instructions to improve the cause of the disease, active treatment, and control the progress of the disease.
