Some drugs enter the body during nebulization, which may cause an allergic reaction, and some symptoms may appear. For example, there is a persistent, irritating choking cough, which may be accompanied by edema and congestion of the skin around the mouth, marked itching, and even the appearance of a rash. The rash becomes more and more frequent and spreads diffusely over the whole body. Wheezing, shortness of breath, dyspnea, even hypoxemia, accompanied by hypercapnia, respiratory failure, respiratory distress, nodding respiration may occur. In severe cases, there can be acute edema of the larynx, with more than third-degree enlargement, manifestations of asphyxia, and even lead to a state of lethargy and coma. Respiratory and cardiac arrest can occur at any time.
