Stinging sensation inside the nose is mainly considered to be caused by nasal vestibular inflammation or nasal vestibular boils. Since the nasal vestibule is covered with epithelium, which is rich in sensory nerve endings, and the epithelium is closely connected to the tissue under it, once inflammation occurs, it can cause more intense pain in the nasal vestibule area. The nasal vestibule is rich in hair follicles, sebaceous glands and sweat glands, which can easily be irritated by various external stimuli and cause bacterial infections, leading to nasal vestibulitis and nasal vestibular boils. The patient’s work and living environment is heavily polluted, and stimulation by harmful and toxic gases and dust in the air may cause stinging pain in the nasal cavity.
