What should I do if I crack a bone in my foot?

This kind of minor fracture is usually treated conservatively, i.e. with general treatment, plaster immobilization treatment and medication.
1. General treatment: should immediately rest, stop weight bearing, broken parts to intermittent ice, prohibit rubbing. Eat high calcium, high protein food, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. Avoid going down to the ground too early.
2. Plaster fixation: It is recommended to fixate with plaster or brace for about 6 weeks, and elevate the affected limb when resting to promote venous blood return and reduce swelling.
3. Medication: Oral treatment can be taken to activate blood circulation, eliminate blood stasis, reduce swelling and relieve pain, soothe the tendons and strengthen the bones, and promote the healing of the fracture. Oral diclofenac sodium extended-release capsules and sodium rosoprofen can also be taken to reduce inflammation and pain.
If the diagnosis of fracture is confirmed, it is recommended to carry out standardized treatment as early as possible in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease. The medication should be administered under the supervision of a doctor.
