Can children recover from astigmatism 200 degrees

Astigmatism in children with 200 degrees is not recoverable. Astigmatism is a type of refractive error, usually due to irregular corneal morphology. Physiological astigmatism appears gradually from birth and is caused by irregular corneal morphology. Patients can wear frame glasses and corneal contact lenses, including both soft and rigid corneal contact lenses. They are generally prescribed for children older than 8 years of age or are corrected by refractive surgery in adulthood. Acquired corneal astigmatism is usually secondary to corneal inflammation, corneal scarring, cone corneas, etc. However, it is currently believed that there is no cure for astigmatism in children, and the degree does not change. Therefore, it is recommended that children with astigmatism of 200 degrees pay more attention to eye protection, eye hygiene, and foods rich in vitamin A and lutein. Children with astigmatism with 200 degrees should take care of their eyes, pay attention to eye hygiene, eat foods rich in vitamin A and lutein, and increase outdoor activities and look into the distance.
