How to avoid neck and shoulder pain?

With the development of modern science and technology, the computer has become the companion of people’s working life. People who use computers for a long time are most likely to have pain in the shoulders and neck, followed by the wrists and hands. In a year, about two-thirds of computer workers feel pain in the neck or shoulder. Common causes of neck pain include wearing glasses, working long hours, and using a mouse for more than four hours a day. Pain is not life-threatening, but it can reduce work efficiency, affect mood, sleep and life, and even make the quality of life decline. Long-term accumulation may also cause musculoskeletal lesions, which are not easily cured completely and are prone to recurrence. To avoid muscle fatigue and pain caused by the use of computers, the following recommendations: 1, computer monitors and keyboards placed directly in front, the keyboard should be placed in a slightly lower position than the desk; monitor must be placed in the line of sight level below. 2, pay attention to the work posture, the body torso to maintain a straight, natural lean on the back of the chair, head and neck should never be tilted forward. 3, choose a mouse suitable for your hand and size. 4, increase the number of breaks between work, at least 1 break every 2 hours, and get up and do stretching exercises for 5 to 15 minutes, especially to strengthen the neck, shoulders, wrists and abdominal back stretching exercises.
