What’s wrong with sleeping with a foggy head?

Sleeping up with a groggy head may be physiological factors, but also may be the manifestation of certain diseases, such as obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, cerebrovascular disease, endocrine system diseases and other related.
1. Physiological factors: Due to overwork before going to bed, the brain is still in a state of excitement during sleep, resulting in sleep deprivation after waking up, and the symptoms of dizziness after waking up.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome: during the sleep of patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, the body will be in a state of oxygen deprivation, which will make the patients have poor sleep quality, and thus the symptoms of dizziness can appear.
(2) Cerebrovascular diseases: Related diseases include transient ischemic attack, cerebral infarction, etc., which can cause the local brain tissue to be in a state of ischemia and hypoxia, affecting the patient’s sleep and causing the patient to feel dizzy and groggy after waking up.
(3) Endocrine system diseases: For example, hypothyroidism, due to abnormal hormone metabolism, can cause anxiety and insomnia, thus affecting sleep and causing patients to wake up feeling groggy.
This symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease, and may be caused by other factors. It is recommended that the patient consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
