Adenoid hypertrophy belongs to the category of “snoring” in Chinese medicine, which is generally categorized into phlegm and blood stasis, lung, spleen and qi deficiency type, and can be treated by using the traditional Chinese medicines such as Phlegm Conducting Soup with Peach Red and Four Substances Soup and Tonifying the Middle Jiaozhong and Yiqi Soup respectively.
1. It is not recommended for pregnant women. Take a light diet during the medication.
2. Lung, spleen and qi deficiency: symptoms such as snoring, even apnea, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), muscle weakness, slow movement, poor development of children, lack of concentration, etc. can be used to tonify the spleen and stomach, qi and yang (tonifying qi so that yang qi can be elevated) effect. It should not be used for patients with solid heat syndrome. Avoid overwork during the medication period.
