After being infected with HIV, female patients may have different symptoms depending on the course of the disease, for example, the acute stage is mainly characterized by recurrent low-grade fever and generalized muscle pains, while the AIDS stage may be characterized by persistent fever, weight loss and generalized lymph node enlargement, and so on.
1. Acute phase: During the first 2 to 4 weeks of HIV infection, most female patients may experience different degrees of fever, accompanied by muscle pain, sore throat and other symptoms similar to upper respiratory tract infection.
2. Asymptomatic phase: After the acute phase, AIDS patients can enter the asymptomatic phase, during which patients may not show any symptoms.
3. AIDS stage: also known as the final stage of AIDS, the main clinical manifestations of persistent fever, night sweats, may be accompanied by diarrhea, weight loss, generalized lymph node swelling and so on. As the patient’s immunity continues to decline, it may be combined with a variety of diseases and show corresponding symptoms, such as thrush, recurrent mouth ulcers and so on.
Due to the difference in personal constitution, the symptoms of female AIDS patients may also vary to some extent. If you suspect that you are infected with AIDS, you should consult a doctor for examination in a timely manner.
