What to do after a mite bite

Mite bites can be treated with general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and other treatments to improve symptoms or control the condition.
1. General treatment: avoid scratching vigorously after being bitten by mites to avoid secondary infection.
2. Topical medication: Itchy mite bites can be treated with topical antipruritic agents, such as glycerine lotion and zinc oxide ointment; or topical glucocorticoids, such as beclomethasone propionate ointment and dexamethasone acetate compound ointment.
3. Oral medication: when the itching is significant, oral antihistamine treatment, such as loratadine, cetirizine and so on.
It is recommended that patients according to their own situation, timely to the regular hospital, follow the doctor’s instructions reasonable medication, not blindly self-medication.
