Hemangiomas of the wrist, referring to hemangiomas occurring in the wrist, are common congenital benign vascular tumors or vascular malformations. The incidence of hemangioma accounts for about 15% of the total body hemangiomas, and it is more common in females. The common treatment methods include drug therapy, laser therapy and surgery. Depending on the type, location and depth of the tumor and the age of the patient, there is no single method that can treat all types of hemangiomas. For patients with smaller hemangiomas, embolization treatment with drugs can usually be used. For hemangiomas that will produce obvious scars in the prognosis, or hemangiomas that are small in scope, laser treatment can be used. For larger tumors, hemangiomas that cannot be easily removed completely can usually be treated with surgery.
