Noxurone fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol, properly known as fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol, is used for the prophylactic treatment of asthma in adults and children.
The inflammatory response is the most important mechanism in the pathogenesis of asthma, and fluticasone propionate is a synthetic trifluorinated glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory activity; glucocorticoids have been shown to exert a broad spectrum of effects on a wide range of cell types involved in inflammation, and these anti-inflammatory effects contribute to their efficacy in asthma.
Multi-organ and systemic adverse reactions can occur with the use of this product, including candidiasis of the oral cavity as well as the pharynx, skin irritation, endocrine disorders, growth retardation in children and adolescents, cataracts and glaucoma, hyperglycemia, anxiety, sleep disturbances, hyperactivity, irritability, hoarseness, and arthralgia, and is contraindicated in those who are allergic to any of the components of this product.
This product is mainly used for long-term conventional treatment of asthma, not for the relief of acute asthma symptoms, it is recommended that patients bring their own rapid short-acting inhaled bronchodilators and other emergency drugs.
