The face may grow acne in the early stages of HIV infection. After HIV infection, some patients will experience acute phase symptoms such as fever and rash, and their face may show symptoms of acne.
AIDS is a systemic disease caused by the infection of the body with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), causing various infections and tumors. At the initial stage of infection, some patients show fever, fatigue, sore throat and general malaise (similar to the symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection), 20% to 25% of patients may have skin rashes such as maculopapular rash, roseola or urticaria, and a small number of patients may have enlarged lymph nodes and neurological symptoms. It can be relieved by itself after 1~3 weeks. So there is a possibility of facial acne in the initial stage.
Infection of HIV at the initial stage of the face may appear long acne, but not through the long acne to diagnose AIDS, AIDS diagnosis should be based on laboratory tests.
