It is generally recommended to wait 3-6 months after the nine-valent vaccine before getting pregnant. HPV virus, also known as human papillomavirus, is the most important cause of cervical cancer in women, and the HPV vaccine can effectively prevent cervical cancer. There are three types of HPV vaccines currently available globally, bivalent, quadrivalent and nine-valent, all of which are preventive vaccines. The nine-valent vaccine requires three injections and takes six months, if all three injections are completed. The HPV vaccine is an inactivated vaccine, and the Chinese Health Organization recommends getting pregnant 3-6 months after the vaccine. The 9-valent vaccine is not recommended during pregnancy.
