Choledocholithiasis with cholangitis mainly manifests as abdominal pain, chills and high fever, jaundice, and there will be shock and other symptoms when it develops into acute obstructive septic cholangitis.
1. Abdominal pain: mainly manifested as paroxysmal colicky pain in the subxiphoid or right upper abdomen, which may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting.
2. Chills and high fever: choledocholithiasis leads to bile duct obstruction and cholangitis, the inflammation and edema of the bile duct wall will further aggravate the obstruction, and the pressure in the choledocholithiasis will increase, and the retrograde entry of bacteria and other pathogens into the bloodstream will lead to systemic infections, which will lead to chills and high fever.
3. Jaundice: the jaundice of choledocholithiasis with cholangitis is mostly intermittent and fluctuating jaundice, which can be accompanied by deepening of urine color, lightening of feces color, itching of skin and other manifestations.
4. Shock, neurological symptoms: if the disease progresses to acute obstructive purulent cholangitis, it will be accompanied by shock, drowsiness, coma and other signs of inhibition of the central nervous system.
