Is non-atrophic gastritis with sinus erosion part of an old gastric condition?

There is no concept of “old gastropathy”, old gastropathy generally refers to long-term gastric diseases, such as chronic gastritis, chronic gastric ulcer, gastroduodenal ulcer and so on. Chronic non-atrophic gastritis with sinus erosion belongs to the scope of old gastric disease.
Chronic non-atrophic gastritis, i.e., chronic superficial gastritis, is commonly found in the gastric sinus, and gastroscopy reveals that the gastric mucosa is congested, edematous, and light red, which may be accompanied by punctate hemorrhage and erosion. Therefore, chronic non-atrophic gastritis with gastric sinus erosion belongs to the scope of old gastric disease.
The prognosis of chronic non-atrophic gastritis is good, most of them can be cured by treatment or reasonable diet, but a few of them can be transformed into chronic atrophic gastritis.
If you have chronic non-atrophic gastritis, you need to go to the hospital as soon as possible, by the doctor according to the specific conditions, to formulate individualized diagnosis and treatment plan, so as not to delay the condition.
