Hepatic caudate bladed hypodense shadow refers to CT right liver presenting small patchy hypodense area, the density of the lesion is lower than that of normal liver tissue, the cause may be fatty liver, infection, tumor, etc. 1. Fatty liver: it is more common and the incidence of fatty liver is higher. Focal fat deposition, may be a small patchy hypodense shadow in the right lobe of the liver under CT. It is usually treated with oral medications such as atorvastatin and other lipid-lowering drugs. 2. Infection: e.g. parasitic or viral infection, local tissue irritation by inflammation, in case of viral hepatitis, antiviral drugs such as acyclovir are usually taken. In severe cases, liver pseudo lobar nodules appear, surgical resection can be used. 3. Tumor factors: some tumors combined with inflammation or abnormal growth of the tumor may show the phenomenon of small patchy hypodense shadow in the right lobe of the liver. If CT examination is clear that the right lobe of the liver has a small patchy hypodense shadow, it is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition, and the medication should be reasonably applied according to the doctor’s prescription.
