Which is the best type of breast cancer to treat?

Clinically, there is no such thing as the best treatment for breast cancer. There are many types of breast cancer, and in general, those with lower malignant degree and non-invasive breast cancer have relatively better prognosis. However, whether it is good to treat or not, it needs to integrate the specific stage of the disease, the degree of malignancy of the tumor, as well as the patient’s physical condition, drug sensitivity and other factors. There are mainly non-invasive breast cancer and invasive breast cancer, among which non-invasive breast cancer includes ductal carcinoma in situ, lobular carcinoma in situ, etc. The scope of lesions is relatively small, which is easier to treat and has a better prognosis. Invasive breast cancer mainly includes invasive ductal carcinoma, invasive lobular carcinoma, papillary carcinoma, medullary carcinoma and inflammatory breast cancer, etc. Compared with non-invasive breast cancer, its lesions are relatively larger in scope and not easy to be cured. Breast cancer not only needs to be considered for typing, but also for staging. The earlier the stage of breast cancer, the easier it is to treat, the lower the degree of malignancy, the easier it is to treat patients with better physical condition than those with poorer physical condition, and the more drug-sensitive the patient is, the better the prognosis tends to be. Meanwhile, breast cancer is also categorized into five different subtypes at the molecular level, including LuminalA, LuminalB, Her-2 overexpression, Basal-like, and Normal-like, among which the first two subtypes have relatively better treatment and prognosis. It is recommended that breast cancer patients go to the hospital as early as possible to improve the auxiliary examinations, clarify the patient’s condition, and be treated by professional physicians to avoid delaying the condition.
