Can you do IVF with uterine adhesions?

Uterine adhesions are usually recommended to be surgically corrected before transferring the embryo, otherwise it can lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes such as failure of implantation, miscarriage, abruption, preterm labor, and fetal dysplasia.
Uterine adhesions is a condition that is primarily caused by damage to the lining of the uterus resulting in partial or total occlusion of the uterine cavity. If IVF is done directly in this condition, the fertilized egg cannot be properly implanted. Moreover, the implanted embryo grows in the damaged uterine cavity and may suffer from miscarriage, fetal arrest, preterm labor, and fetal dysplasia, so it is recommended to surgically correct the adhesions before transferring the embryo.
If a woman has uterine adhesions, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment and undergo IVF after the results are satisfactory.
