It is suitable for patients with mild to moderate monophasic depression with liver depression and spleen deficiency, which is characterized by depressed mood, early awakening and dreaming, irritability, poor appetite and dullness (lack of appetite and reduced food intake). Side effects such as nausea, vomiting and headache are occasionally seen after taking the medicine; caution should be exercised in patients with liver insufficiency.
