The accuracy rate of lymph node aspiration is not high. If there is swollen lymph nodes, suspected to be caused by tumor metastasis or lymphoma, a lymph node biopsy is needed to remove the lymph nodes completely and then send them for pathological examination, which will have a slightly higher accuracy rate. If the swollen lymph nodes are caused by tumor metastasis, usually tumor cells can be found in the pathology after biopsy of the lymph nodes. If there is painless lymph node enlargement, it is not certain what causes it, and the biopsy may not be able to make an accurate diagnosis, and other tests such as blood test, abdominal CT and PET-CT are needed to make a comprehensive judgment.
