Survival of highly differentiated squamous carcinoma

At present, there is no authoritative data indicating how long the survival period of highly differentiated squamous carcinoma is, and each patient has different physical condition, degree of disease and treatment method, so the specific survival period cannot be generalized. When highly differentiated squamous carcinoma patients are in the early stage of the disease, if the treatment is timely, the five-year survival rate is usually higher, for example, the five-year survival rate of esophageal highly differentiated squamous carcinoma patients can usually reach about 90%. If the disease is in the middle or late stage, the five-year survival rate may be around 20%, e.g. the five-year survival rate of middle stage highly differentiated squamous carcinoma of lung is around 30%. If the treatment is not timely, it may lead to worsening of the disease, and the five-year survival rate will be reduced. Early stage highly differentiated squamous carcinoma patients can follow the doctor’s prescription to adopt surgical treatment to radically remove the lesions in the body, which has a certain chance of curing the disease. Patients in middle and late stages can receive comprehensive treatment through chemotherapy and radiotherapy to eliminate the cancer cells in the body, prolong the survival period and improve the quality of life. The survival period of different parts and different stages of highly differentiated squamous carcinoma varies and cannot be generalized. It is suggested that patients with highly differentiated squamous carcinoma should go to hospitals as soon as possible and follow the doctor’s instructions for professional treatment.
