The majority of patients with novel coronavirus infection present with fever. It is not necessarily a persistent high fever; it may be high or low, and in critical cases, patients may not show fever, i.e., the severity of the disease cannot be inferred from the fever. Fever can be used as a lead to observe the condition. If there is a drop in body temperature during the course of fever, the observation of the condition should not be relaxed. In the process of treatment with drugs, the temperature fluctuation curve will be affected by the use of drugs, not necessarily completely the natural direction of the patient’s condition. The disease has not been around long enough for the pattern of fever to be summarized, and methods of therapeutic intervention are being considered.
