4. Uterine adenomyosis: prolonged menstruation may also occur, but it is mostly accompanied by progressive dysmenorrhea which gets worse gradually, and the uterus is uniformly enlarged, hard and with pressure pain.
5. Abnormal uterine bleeding: prolonged menstrual period, increased menstrual flow, or even incessant vaginal bleeding will also occur.
